Camel spiders are pretty much harmless though. They're not even venomous (actually, they're not even spiders really). It's the little buggers like black widows and funnel-webs that are really dangerous.

Camel spiders are pretty much harmless though.

 

Their bite is nasty. The trouble we found is that they all come out at night and whilst your asleep in your bag they get in, not to get you because as you say they're pretty innocen creatures unless you happen to be a Camel, anyways if they get somewhere like a sleeping bag and you move they can become threatened and sink those fangs into you, and they go pretty deep and rip away leaving a sizable wound. Afterall they use them things to attack Camels. (Or so they reckon, some say they're just called that because they're in the desert, eitherway they can't half bite).

 

I think theres a few pictures knocking round t'internet of U.S soldiers who been bitten by those things, some deep bites that can't be stitched up due to the size and the depth..

 

I dont like them, I dont mind spiders/scorpians in general but these things I'd rather not meet, They're fast and look pretty mad when they run as their front legs go up in the air, they also like boots...
