PMQ’s. Perfectly reasonable questions about track and trace being met with accusations that the leader of the opposition is attacking the NHS. A response to confirm it’s not an attack but a reasonable question met with more of the same. I know it’s pretty standard for Politicians not to answer the questions posed but this is a fucking disgrace.

Yeah, this is sadly where populism falls down. Sometimes you need substance.

"What are we gonna do about this virus?"

"We're going to spaff it in the bollocks, we're going to lead a cavalry charge against it, virus to the left of them, pathogen to the right of them, PPE to the fore of them rode the 600!"

"How's track and trace going?"

"Sort of like, like Ulysses and the sirens!"

Straight out of the Trump handbook.

Fucking pathetic we have fallen this far as a nation.

That's what happens when you create a culture where everything is for sale, once the country's infrastructure, communities and safety net had been eaten alive it was only a matter of time before it happened to politics itself.

I’m beginning to really hate this country. Maybe it’s my age and the fact that my children are getting to the stage of their lives when the sheer loathsomeness of so many of our people will hit them square between the eyes. Perhaps my resilience is low and it’s having a deeper impact than it might once have had. Whatever, this country is shit. I know it’s not all shit, I know many people that live here aren’t shit but still, it’s got to be better than this. Much fucking better.

Same here. I'd off as soon as I could but CV19 has seen to that plan.

Just now, sir roger said:

Maybe I haven't been taking full notice in the past, but I can't remember important Government policy decisions being announced at 10pm at night on a regular basis, and as for that fucking stupid lectern Johnson sets up in the street.

'Taking back control' apparently means just allowing a government to do what the fuck it wants.

Lindsay Hoyle is an imposing sort of fellow. That'll be the last time they try that one.

Nah, they're not arsed. Breaking protocols, subverting democracy, breaking the law, it's all in a days work for them.

There really should be a vote of no confidence in them but unfortunately they have that 80 seat majority and of course their own won't vote against them as it's Party above all else.  Truly a cult.
