Step forward the mighty OX

Oh fuck yes

I'd go for Entwhistle too. I'll never tire of his playing, especially Live at Leeds. Just slides up and down that fret all day like a runny shit off a shovel.

Was a fantastic Bassist, a drummers dream from a drummers perspective.

This ones nice too. A lot of Manrings stuff is a bit noodly (i.e. just fucking noise) for my taste, but I like this one.

He did a cover of Purple Haze too. Apparently one take, no overdubs.

And finally, a cover of Spirits in the Material World.

Geezer Butler is a very underrated bassist, have a listen to war pigs or sabbath bloody sabbath..also went to see Joe Satriani years ago and had a guy called Stuart Hamm on bass,he was really good and did a superb rendition of the star trek theme tune.

Paul always wrote great melodic bass lines. And he could sing while playing bass, that's like writing with both hands at the same time.

I can't do the youtube thing either but our boy, Aston 'Family Man' Barrett deserves a mention Red.

without doubt jim, i just love that dennis brown with sly and robbie clip from the tube so couldnt resist throwing that down first.
