log cabin/ summer house

Anybody have/had one of these , i'm thinking about sticking one in the back garden but not sure who or where to buy from to get the best deal.

I think the purpose of forking out for something like a log cabin is to enable you to 'get away' from it all - i.e. like a weekend getaway. Some are fairly expensive but prob worth it if you purchase one in the lake district or something.

 

Buying one for the back garden sort of defeats the object. It simply renders it an 'expensive shed'.

George Bernard Shaw, Roald Dahl, along with other writers, used sheds on their property to write. So even though they are located next to your property I guess it does feel like getting away depending on the situation.
