That's shit compared to Wijnaldum sending three Barcelona players walkies - and that wasn't even the stand-out highlight of that one match.

That is one of their "greatest moments" of the last 20 years????

Apparently so. If one of ours had done that 10 years ago, there's a good chance I'd have forgotten about it.

We won the UEFA cup, Champions league twice, Super Cup 3 times and the World Club Championship. Just saying.

The two FA Cups and three League Cups were quite nice, too.

Obviously, the pandemic isn't affecting progress on the Honest Swear-Down Deffo Getting Built Stadium.

Why, they have plans in place to... send some more survey forms out.

Absolutely despise the bitter cunts with a passion. I seriously hope they get into serious financial trouble and go the same way as Bury FC.

Never have a bunch of fans deserved a shit club and team to support.

It was fucking ace though!

i still occasionally recall a turn by Sinama-Pongolle - I think against arsenal in the game Mellor scores the last minute screamer in - which sent 2 players for half time bovrils.

Love those sorts of moments, so while it’s utterly embarrassing to end up in the list of best moments of 20 years worth of footie, I don’t entirely begrudge it being remembered fondly.

have to assume it wouldn’t mean as much to them if it wasn’t an ex RS he got the better of though.

One FA Cup and one top four finish in 28 years has there ever been a more pointless club since the Premier League started.?

Other fanbases like say Newcastle at least have seasons of excitement from the devastation of relegation to the sheer joy of promotion to enjoy and celebrate those lot just have basically the same empty husk of mediocrity. No wonder there is so much bile and bitterness from them.
It’s no coincidence they still talk warmly about the 94 Wimbledon game and 97/98 season as they’re the only times when they actually checked other teams scores apart from the red shite.

Origi's derby goal only comes third in Origi's best moments from last season.

Funnily enough, Divock has scored as many derby goals in the Klopp era as Everton!

A quick glance at the Premier League table after 29 games shows that the Blue shite are not only in 12th place, but nowhere near safe from relegation with 9 games remaining.

Perhaps an ulterior and much more pressing motive for wanting the season voided is at play here?

how delicious the fume would be if the season restarted and ended safely with us winning the league comfortably and them going on a nosedive and ending up being relegated.

It’s certainly unlikely but i think it would finish them as a club the fans would never recover.

You'd think we had the same stands, the same pitch, the very same grass they had at anfield. Anyway didn't they rent the ground anyway as far as I know they didn't own shit.

Caught this on radio city earlier today, apparently if FIFA/UEFA decide to make changes such as 5 substitutes then that’s changing the rules during a season and should therefore void the season.

Y’see it would give teams with massive squads, like City and those at the top of the league, a huge advantage over those with smaller squads, like Burnley for instance and would skew results in their favour(???).

Of course the season should be voided anyway as the pandemic has reduced football to a meaningless side issue and it would benefit only a tiny minority for it to continue in any shape or form.

No prizes for guessing who the contributor supported.

Completely mailing up a scenario then kicking off about it. They should all be sent to labs for studying.

Koulibaly.  It's happening, lad!

Erm...

Sky Sports Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio has said it is unlikely Philippe Coutinho will join Everton this summer.

And he has also made it clear Carlo Ancelotti’s intentions of making his Blues squad as strong as possible moving forward.
