I used to like the Stereophonics when I was in my early teens, but listening to their albums now, the only decent thing they have going for them is that Kelly Jones has a great voice. They're awful musicians with shit lyrics.

Let's have quotes from these people saying that they think he's a good songwriter. Please exclude any quotes from Jools Holland that are from episodes of his TV show where The Stereophonics appeared, as he's hardly going to say anything bad about them when they're guests on his show. Also exclude any quotes from Tom Jones when promoting "Mama Told Me Not To Come" for the same reason. Tom Jones also defaults to bigging up any Welsh artists because he's a patriotic Welshman who has a face like a leather purse with some pubes stuck on it.
