Thommo?

Seems about a million too much.

I would suggest it's wrong to think of players as having set 'values'.

Rather, it is the club's situation that has a value. Without midfield reinforcement (we're talking someone who can fit in from the off) we are unlikely to qualify for the CL.

If DT fits the bill, no way is £3.5 million too much.

My only question is - why are Blackburn looking to sell him?

They're not, but they're skint and nobody wants a player who's head has been turned.... except us it seems.

The last time Thommo had a good run in the Blackburn side, he got himself into the England squad. He's had alot of injuries since but if he can stay fit, then he'd do well for us and would love to come back. £3.5m is a bit steep but we did pay £6m for Garcia and if it sorts out what's been our problem position since Macca left, then it'll be worth it.

Bit much for a Carlsberg-swilling, Mermaid-loving, Jarlsberg-cheese munching Danish fanzine editor. In my opinion, anyway.

Jarlsberg is NORWEGIAN! an ad on the telly for jarlsberg actually made fun of stupid foreigners :tease: who didn't know where Jarlsberg came from.

Blatant plagiarism

I've already signed a three year deal though NP. I start in September.

I would only pay about 2 million for him. At least he's a fully commited player. How reliable is the source?

The bloke who was saying it actually writes the quiz for Evertons official programme at the game & he seems to be in the know. He is just a bloke in work I don't know him personally. But he has been right on other transfer speculation.
