6bn USD I think. But that probably doesn't count the debt is my guess and they're about £500m in debt aren't they? So if we say debt and money comes to ~£4.5bn, which would be ~$5.5bn, it's probably a number to start negotiating.

Why does Ratcliffe need publicity though. He's a prick like and made a point of saying there's no value in LFC all the while being a Chelsea season ticket holder who supports United, I'm sure being the richest man in Britain means he could travel to watch his beloved devil's in quite the comfort.

It's just negotiating isn't it. Ratcliffe makes a bid, leaks it to the press it's nearly there..he knows he's bid under what the glazers want, but uses the press to make it feel like he thinks he's bid enough. They on the other hand react by their own leak saying he's not being taken seriously and is just a tyre kicker or whatever. 

 

I don't think it's any different to what's happening with us. There's been plenty of those stories from the middle east that "Qatar" are willing to pay 3.5bn, there's been a few stories from our pack journos saying Boston haven't had one outright offer that's serious and they only really want to sell a slice and it'd need to be at least 4bn to start a conversation. It's almost identical.
