He called a particular women's player shit and lazy. He's reputed to have said 'Fuck off (insert player's name)' when she lost the ball a few times during a game.

She got to hear about this and raised a bullying claim over it citing racial overtones. Fuck me, if 'she' was in the man's game, Im pretty sure she'd get told to fuck off and worse if she gave the ball away.

Obviously bullying and racism are serious subjects but I think the player concerned used her legal background to turn a non incident into a big issue, complete with tears in front of the camera when interviewed about it.

And from the little ive read told her

"Make sure you family don't bring Ebola with them from Nigeria"

He sounds a cunt to be honest

God forbid that someone have a relationship with a co-worker. Won't somebody think of the consenting adults?

Bit facetious, that. It's pretty obvious why student/teacher or a coach/player relationship is unethical. Psychologically and physically; even more so in such a competitive environment as professional sports.

He can fuck all the footballers he likes now that he doesn't hold a position of power over them. Fill your boots, son.

There's more to the allegations than that.

Sampson was cleared of those allegations in any case.

Not a co-worker.

Two players getting it on would be fine. A player and a kit-man would also be fine. They're co-workers.

Manager getting jiggy with someone over whom he has a lot of power? Not cool. Potentially a bit rapey.

Strangely, it seems it's unethical for a coach to have a relationship with a player, but it's ok for an England player to commit adultery with a team mate's ex, and it's ok for an England manager to have a relationship with an FA assistant, and for the FA Chief Executive to have an affair with the same woman too.

I'm all for ethics, but seems they only apply when it suits the FA.

I can honestly say I didn't know he'd gone, I thought he was injured or something....

Shows you how much I really can't be arsed with football at the minute.

I don't think Origi realised he had gone either, he probably thinks he's still playing against Stoke on a windy night in September.
