Ter Stegen was earmarked by Barca as a long term replacement for Valdes because he's very good on the ball and with distribution, as well as being a decent shot stopper and sweeper. He's a much better version of Vorm, really. Whereas we went out and got Reina's polar opposite when it was Reina that more suited Rodgers' style. 

 

Ter Stegen is only playing the Spanish Cup and CL games because Bravo started the league season and has done really well.

changing keeper won't change anything unless it's Buffon, Neuer or Courtois, the problem's still in the defense and midfield, need a class RCB and DM, been in need for them since Rodgers arrived, did fuck all to address these issues. At least we've sorted our fullbacks though..
