Lazar Marković

I expect to something more than an odd run with the ball from a £20m signing. That said, it's not this lads fault that Rodgers paid established money for a player who is basically no further ahead in his development than Suso and Ibe.

I do not agree, definitely not about Ibe. Markovic has played European football with Benfica and has 16 senior caps for Serbia. Ibe is not good enough to be a regular starter at Derby yet.

As for Suso it's a bit more difficult to judge, but his main achievement so far is the 14 games he's played for us and his loan spell at Almeria last season. Looked a prospect I agree, at least a couple of years ago. Personally I think Markovic looks to have far more potential, but I guess that's only my opinion.

Way I see it he'd have been ace as an impact sub last season. This season he's in a disjunct team with a manager under fire who's made a decision to go with what he knows rather than live and die by his new signings, at least so far.

What he knows has been so shit, that he might be forced to live and die by Markovic, Lallana, and Can in the coming months. I've not been overly impressed by Lallana, certainly hasn't done anything to make me think he was worth what we've paid, but he probably deserves a run in the side at this point. Markovic has been played so little that I can't tell you if he deserves a run or not but I'd give him one since Borini apparently fucked Rodgers new bird or something and there's no other option after him (Markovic also fits Rogders 4-3-3 better). We haven't seen enough of Can at all but I think he's just as good if not better than Allen so why not play him?

If the Pearce story is true, Marcovic is a transfer committee signing, not a Rodgers one, which may mean his time will be limited like Can's. Maybe we should color code the signings, or have little insignia sewn on their shirts to indicate their origins.

Making a decent run and pass in a game already way past lost doesn't mean much but give the kid a fair shot, starting tomorrow.

I was thinking Markovic, Sterling and Coutinho as a three; all inter-changing and all that shit (with Lallana behind them)

Alone they cannot finish but put the three of them together and one of them is bound to put one away. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully.

Don't do it to yourself. It's the hope that kills you.
