Is easy to forget Momo's only, with Agger 20, Paletta 20, all the youngsters which from the few times I've seen them (Barragan,Antwi,Roque etc etc) are brilliant prospects Rafa is building a good side for the future as well as the present. GH, who I loved and will always remember fondly for the treble and his emotional return at home to Roma believed he set up the academy but it was already in the works. He also bought a lot of players for 'the now' which simply didn't work from Ferri right through to Diao, with only the French Gems for the future. Rafa is the close past, present and future of this club and we will win much in the next 5 years if we can keep him!

I think the guy has come in for some unjustified stick from some LFC fans. He's still found it difficult adjusting to the hustle and bustle of Premiership. His confidence has sunk because of this as well, but I still think he will prove to be a vital squad member for the crucial remainder in the season, especially with the Champions league starting up again. I just hope he manages to get a goal against the cunts tomorrow to boost his confidence for the remainder of the season. Whether he'll still be at Anfield for next season will be down to Rafa

Man U haven't had a sniff. Much shall go wrong in the second half if we're losing this. I'm really happy with our preformance. Oh and Crouchinho added a skill to his abilities today, but who would've thought it was his header he was saving for last.

On the offal yesterday was an article containing many of Bob Paisley's quotes. I think Rafa should pin the following one up on the dressing room wall. If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later."

THE FUTURE for Everton's stadium will be known by the end of this year. That was the pledge from club chief executive Keith Wyness last night. In an audience-style forum with members of private sector lobby group Downtown Liverpool in Business at Goodison Park, he outlined the three options open to the club in its bid to develop a state-of-the-art ground. And he vowed: "By the end of this year we will have a big move forward on something." Answering questions from the audience, he virtually ruled out a shared ground with rivals Liverpool or redeveloping their current Goodison home. That leaves building their own ground the most likely outcome. Sto…

Nil nil. A rare night off for me, but DT is there and says we're on top but we're lacking a cutting edge. Anderson and Hobbs are playing well he says, but Agger has hobbled about for the last ten minutes.

His ability to ping in passes from the right, using his left foot is just fantastic. If he makes it past his man, he hits it with his right. If not he turns, knocks it back and hits it with his left. The way he goes about business is fantastic. A proper professional and one of our most important players I reckon.

My choice would be the League Cup goal at Anfield by big Jan. He picked the ball up near the dug out, beat a couple of players on a mazy run and then unleashed a thunderbolt passed Gary Bailey.

From the offal.. Gutted, just returning to form after his display against Arsenal, but Momo and Hamman should be an interesting combo, and lets face it, we could never put out a worse centre-mid pairing than they will, fukin O'Shea and Fletcher/Richardson, In fact I reckon Ferdinand might get a game in the middle tomorrow. One good point though, at least now Hamman will deffo play, we need his calm head for this game!
