The most amazing high-jump you'll ever see

A Finnish high-jumper has become an internet sensation after he managed to clear 1.84m from a standing position.

Jussi Viita, who can jump 2.24m with a traditional run-up, produced the jump in training.

As you can see from the video, he just stood with his back to the pole before executing the amazing leap.

For those of you not clued up on the metric system, Viita's jump is a full six feet.

The current world high jump record with a running start is 2.45m (8 ft 0.46 in) which was achieved by Cuba's Javier Sotomayor way back in 1993.
