53 from 66 starts in the league is incredible.

Some mong on the radio said the other day its clear that Drogba and Rooney are the best strikers in England by a long way.

Get a few injuries and the wider media forget you fucking exist. Unless you're Thick Spice of course.

And there we have it, mate.

I don't think you necessarily have to be a mong to go on the radio, but it certainly helps.

Think it was a presenter, as opposed to a caller. Not that it lowers the likelyhood of mongyness.

Well they are fit more often, so they make a stronger contribution to their respective clubs. Not much use having the best striker in the world if he only plays around 20 games every season.

But even if you ignore fitness issues, it's still not crazy to place those two above Torres. The Disgwace has been amazing for Chelsea for six seasons running now, while the cavetroll's current form speaks for itself really.

I feel that the two cun*s mentioned contribute more to their team's general play than Nando, but the latter will outscore them over a season if he keeps himself fit. And his sexiness compares like a supernova to two power-saving light bulbs.

It was the "long way" that really got me. Like you couldn't possibly imagine Torres was in their bracket. Six months ago people were lauding him as the best striker in the world.

My point was really just about how short termist some people can be.

Amazing stats indeed, more amazing when he hardly ever finishes a game.

Does anyone have his goals per minute on the pitch stats?
