Sad this, John Hughes pretty much founded the brat pack. This guys films were a big part of growing up in the eighties.

Ferris Buellar is a big favourite of mine.

Films include FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, THE BREAKFAST CLUB, SIXTEEN CANDLES, WEIRD SCIENCE, PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES, UNCLE BUCK, PRETTY IN PINK, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION, THE GREAT OUTDOORS, DUTCH and HOME ALONE.

Some mighty films there - remind me of my teens.

Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people.

Leg.

Nothing really to add that hasn't been posted. His films defined the 80's for me as I was teen when the likes of The Breakfast Club & Pretty in Pink were released.

Ferris Bueller is a classic in my opinion and I really enjoyed Some Kind of Wonderful.

RIP.
