My finances look pretty healthy at the moment . I'm into the third day of my first match and have gate receipts of 39,000 , sponsorship of 10,500 and misc of 50,000. Profit this week 22,000 . I'll have to check out the gate receipts for ODs and 20/20s because you only get the misc 50,000 for the first 7 weeks.

I have 2 people challenging me at the moment and I haven't got a clue who they are but I think they may be off here. So who owns Mersey CC and also Strawberry Fields CC . Both look a bit too good for me to play but if it's someone off here I'll give it a go.

Just been trolling thropugh the site and checked out the stats of an English batsman.

Firs Class stats . 16 matches av of 381.21 HS 579 . Bradman ?? Pffft.

Edit: Wages 1.3m / week

That's some tasty wages.

I thought that time was going to do me as I had another three wickets to get and a 50-odd run lead at tea. Blew them away in the first two overs after the break though; just shows the power of a refreshing brew.

One of my boys took 6-24 in the second innings to complement a thunderous 162 off 170 balls from my 17 year old batsman.

All in all; a good start.

I bet the match summary says woeful

My lot are struggling. The opposition are on 520-6 in their first innings, I declared yesterday on 600-6. Seems the pitch is too good.

mervs meat won by an innings and 169 runs.

Not a bad first outing, although it does seem that there have been a few hidings about the place

I think there are a fair few computer controlled teams at the lowest level who seem to be complete dross. I'd imagine games against the human managed teams in our leagues will be tougher.

338/5 in 50 overs today for the All Stars in the one dayer. That should be a competitve total I think.

Are you playing against the blind?

I must be in a tough league as my lot drew their first match as both sides batted each other out of the game. I made 262-5 in this one after my 17 year old smashed 71 off 46 balls. I set the entire squad to attack mode.

I must be, because the opposition are 26/3 off 10 overs.

I bought a 19 yr old batsman the first day as my squad looked really thin Only cost me 2,500 so he's no great shakes. BT rating of 4274.

I've had a quick look and I reckon I could get a 19 year old batsmen with a rating of about 10,000 for about £5000. He would be on double the money the rest of my squad are, but fuck them.

I won my first ODI match easily in the end. My 17yo bowler (BT 4,434) took 5-38. My 17yo batsman (4,718) had a nice knock of 71 off 46.

I was bidding on a great little 17yo all rounder with an opening bid of 1000. Someone else spotted him and bid 500,000

What's the deal with foreign players, I take it there is a limit of how many you can have?

Just this minute finished off my second bit of business in two days. Just polished off a deal to buy an Aussie who is a bit of an all-rounder. Competent bowling and consistency and a bit of mediocre batting in with the deal; all for £7.5k.

Spent £15k on a bowler last night in an auction that I tried to steal at 00.45 in the morning. At 01.11 and £15k down I wasn't sure I'd done the right thing.
