1) No Country For Old Men

2) Gone Baby, Gone. I know this was delayed but it was still released in the UK this year.

3) The Dark Knight.

Probably obvious choices, but good ones.

Special mentions also to Wall-E, Cloverfield and Redbelt; I still want to see Burn After Reading, Waltz with Bashir and The Wrestler too.

The Wrestler. Saw another screening of this tonight and it's the best movie I've seen this year. Not just because I'm a wrestling fan, but also because I'm a wrestling fan. Just brilliant. Rourke for Best Actor.

No surprise there

(to be fair though, I've read the reviews and it's supposed to be very, very good)

1. The Dark Knight

2. In Bruges

3. Wall-E

Where the fuck have people seen Slumdog?

1) TWBB (yes you can include it as i never featured in top 10s last year, same goes for . . .

2) NCFOM

3) TDK (although Juno would be here as I only saw it this year - genius)

4-10 to follow betcha cant wait

Right, having watched TDK again the other night it's gone down to 8. The complete lack of emotion is almost balanced by the action and Ledger, but not enough.

1 There Will Be Blood (Technically TWWB is this years film as it was released late December. A stunning stunning film)

2 No Country for Old Men

2 Man on Wire

4. Orphanage, The

5 I've Loved You So Long

6 In Bruges

7 Lars and the Real Girl

8 Batman: Dark Knight

9 Son of Rambow

10 Mist, The

Not seen Gomorrah, Mongol, The Christmas Tale, Gonzo, Hunger.
