Villa never sell their home tickets. Would you consider sitting amongst sme of the most vile fans in England?

I did last year with a mate from work whose a Birmingham City fan and we giggled like girls into our hands when Gerrard got the winner hoping the villains around us thought we crying rather than laughing. Happy days!

Quality. I sat in Elland Road with the Leeds scum when we did them 4-0 a few years ago. A Ferdinand own goal, one from Owen and a Heskey double if I remember correctly. One of the hardest things I've ever done, managing to keep quiet sat with that load of fucking neanderthals. How we laughed afterwards in the comparative safety of our car.

I've sat in the home end a few times over the years and mostly got no grief. I've even done it at OT a couple of times although I wouldn't even think of doing it nowadays. The first one was when we beat them 2-1 in the silver kit, I bought the ticket outside and thought 'fuck it, I'll just keep my head down', but once Barnes scored I kind of blew my cover. The fellas around me weren't happy but left me alone as I was only a young lad at the time, but after the game a few boneheads were waiting for me near the exit so I had to make my way to the away section at the back corner of the stand. The first bizzy told me to fuck off and go out the way I came in but the next one was alright and let me get escorted out with the rest of our fans.

The second time was about 10 years ago and wasn't quite so easy. My mate knew a City fan who had a couple of MU season tickets for entertaining clients, what we didn't know was that he'd always try to give them to away supporters first as he hated the scum himself, so we were on top before we'd even got to our seats!

The game kicked off and apart from getting some abuse off a couple of pricks behind us it wasn't too bad, but the longer the game went on and more mancs got onto us the nastier it got and the pricks behind us got braver. Before half time a young David Beckham scored and while they were all celebrating one of the gobshites smacked me on the back of the head so I threw a dig back at him and all hell broke loose. The stewards came over to throw us out and to be fair a few mancs next to us who we'd chatted with during the game backed us up and said we'd just been minding our own business. The head steward took us down to the concourse and said we could go back to our seats but if it went off again he'd have to remove us which was fair enough. The shithouses behind us must have thought they'd seen the last of us 'cos the look of horror on their faces when we got back to our seats was priceless.

Word must have got round about us at half time and once the second half got underway it seemed like half the stand was wanting to kill us so the steward came back and said he'd found a couple of seats in our end.

Like I said, there's no way I'd do it there nowadays but even though it got a bit scary towards the end I'm glad we did as it was an experience and we still have a good laugh about it from time to time.

I sat i with the Villa fans in the upper tier above our fans when we beat them 4-2 in 98/99 (Fowler hat trick) managed to contain myself up until Collymore got sent off and did the "calm down" gesture towards our end. The twat.

Anyhoo no one around me said anything though.

I've been the home end at away games quite a few times and Villa was never that bad. Saying that thought I didn't go in the Holte End. I've been in the home end about 4 times for us against Villa at Villa Park.

I used to go and watch Villa a bit when I was in Uni in brum and its quite cheap as a student (about £8 a game with a NUS back about 96/97 ish). The cheapest tickets where in the Trinity Road before it got refurbed and extended. I'd say most reds would be okay in the Doug Ellis or the Trinity if you keep your mouth shut.

i was in the north stand to the left of our fans in the same game and didnt really get much grief. there were loads of reds in there though, first time we scored pretty much the half of the lads around me stood up and cheered.

I've done it at west brom too, the game we won 5-0 on boxing day. didnt get any grief that game too and i spent more time cheering than i did sitting down.

I've sat with the home fans at Everton, Leeds, Newcastle, Arsenal, Sheffield United and Chelsea.

The only one I felt even remotely like I should keep my mouth shut was at Everton, where the bitterness was so vile it made me want to puke.

All the rest I was the same, loveable, mouthy fucking prick I always am. Got in to a bit of bother at Sheffield UNited for it when we got a bit of a legger from a load of their neandertal "BBC Crew", but other than that, no worries.

It aint what it used to be. You'd be sound at Villa in with them.

I went in the Doug Ellis Stand once after getting let down on a ticket for our end. Bought it outside of a Villa fans, got no grief at all. Saying that it finished 0-0. Staunton got sent off. Worst has to be the Pitt, hate going native in there, Lower Bullens is like going backwards in time. Even the birds in their are rough as arses. Last time i was in there was Murphys winner 2-1. Arguing all the ninety minuets but no fistycuffs.

I was in the Villa end last season. As long as you are sensible you'll have no problems.

Unlike the 4 nobheads in front of me on Saturday at Sunderland who used every opportunity they could get to antagonise the home fans. BY the end, I wanted to kick their teeth in.

There were some serious twats on saturday. There were a few lads to my left who actually had Liverpool tops on and were generally being cunts.

B'ham fans are the only ones who I've ever seen try to cause problems. Last season there were a lot of them shouting at this sole Liverpool fan in their end who had caused fuck all problems. Small-time cunts.

The last time I sat in the home end at an away game was against Chelsea two years ago and got kicked out. Their supporters started singing 'One man went to Mow' and I tried to resist but ended up singing 'One man went to lift Frank Lampard'. Got a few Hot Dogs threw at me and fair amount of abuse but it was probably the loudest their support has ever been so they should thank me.

Sat in the Gwladys and the Lower Bullens at Everton. Never had trouble when there is a fair few of you sitting together, but open your mouth and you're asking for it.

I went to Everton Vs Ipswich back in about 2000/01 season and sat in the Gwladys. Everton got twated 3-0, best £18 I spent in years. Anyway I was seriously surprised by the bitter and depth of the vitrol spouted by them, women, children and men alike. I used to go a bit on the odd weekend of the two with a blue mate from school who would come with me to Anfield. So i was taken a back by how much it had changed since about 1994 (my last previous visit to Woodison)

I got talking to a lad next to me, he was banging on about what bastards the red shite are and how much money we spend. He told me how much better a team we had than them; and how he die if a red shite heard him say it. I kept quite and nodded along, had a bifter and made a phone call at half time to avoid any unpleasant conversation.

As I was leaving I let him know with a subtle flick of my middle finger sporting a red's keyring and said something along the lines, "you've made my weekend you gobshite". I quickly disappeared off to town from there.

Never been brave enough to go in the home section, castle greyskull's bad enough (were the last line next to the stewards), although being stuck on the tram back to the city centre gets hairy, but i used to work at the Reebok in the kiosks and the West Brom fans were always crazy as fuck. One of em butted one of the female stewards and spread her nose over her face, while generally kicking off all over the ground. Always had more trouble with midlands clubs.

Although the Bolton fans arent exactly angels, especially when you celebrate a late Heskey winner while serving em a pint of fosters id pulled half an hour ago!

Done it myself at Villa, but their fans have become increasingly small time over the past few years so wouldn't know what to do now to be honest.

It seems to me like almost every club has now become small-time since the break-away of the "top 4". There were always seems to be a lot of jealousy and generally bad-feeling in most grounds we visit now.

Villa will be nasty this year, it was bad enough last season. I saw loads of kick offs after the match.

Spot on...stuck in traffic near the ground in our mini-bus, loads of hassle. Fair play to the West Midlands constabulary...they surrounded us, so the Villa boys couldn't get to us...we then shot through every red traffic light on the way out of Brum!!!
