Like I've said, it's hit and miss. It's probably become more hit and miss with the later series, but that doesn't mean the hits aren't funny. Face it, it's still better than most of the other shite out there (I know that doesn't make it good, but, whatever).

Now I've finished my exams the floodgates are open for anything I've been putting off watching/listening to. I think I'll go an purchase one of the Johnny Cash American recordings at some point this week.

I wasn't out for the reaction or being negged, I genuinely do believe it to be overrated, it has it moments, I just find the main characters slightly tedious (the dad and the baby). Im a fan of the dog/the black reporter who shouts a lot/the old perv though, some humourous moments from those.

 

Arrested development on the other hand, is top draw. One of the best things out of America in the last 20 years, hands down.

Fair enough; I think Peter has got less funny with time, Stewie can still be very funny though when he takes on the personality of some kind of social sterotype - the episode where he's obssesed wityh being tanned and the episode where he's married to the other baby (Olivia I think) spring to mind.
