Depend on how much of the other stuff you have completed.

 

I finished the story line on about 75% but had done a fair bit of other stuff.

Its exactly the same if you kill derick, you just go to his funeral. But Francis is still alive and you can call him to clear you wanted level.

Nah not really wilksie. A mate of mine is on 92% and he said hes spent nearly as much time as the story mode took him to get there. But the side missions are mainly just find someone and kill them. Or chase them and then kill them. Or race.

 

Ive got to say Im a little dissapointed all in all. I cant play it and just drive round shooting people, its not got that same feel to it as the other GTAs.

 

I think theres one or two more missions Mick. I cant remember to be honest mate its been that long since I was on it.

im nearly finished doing it a second time now, im doing everything different than i did the first time, like letting some fella live that i killed before, i killed playboyX this time round (i still wish i had have killed Dwayne, the whingy prick), i killed Derrick ,while the last time i killed Francis

My Mates doing exact same as you il see what he thinks,I got stuck on the mission Tunnel of Death i could do it all just getting away from the cops was too hard!! Finally I Did it the i was on the hill i shot the prisinor in the arm thinking you could have more shots!!he just fell like a spaz but then i just shot him until he fell of the cliff:party: happy days:party:

i did a mean style Ted bundy on him this time round, and kicked the shit out of him, he didnt even end up falling off the cliff, i killed him with my bare hands, Grrrrrrrrrr :laugh:

Just finished this after I left it for 4 months once I'd opened up the 3rd part of the city, and am wondering :

 

1) What's the fastest car? Is it the Infernus or the Turismo or something?

2) Are the weapons in those shops the only ones you can get? Or are there any crazier ones like the minigun, etc, in Vice City?

 

Surprised to see that some of you haven't touched it after finishing the story bit too. There's not a lot of stuff in this compared to games like San Andreas, admitted, but once I've finished the story I can often spend ages just doing my own stuff in the city, and it's one of my fave things about GTA games. I get the feeling I could get bored pretty quickly thought with the lack of stuff to do, so I'm gonna have a good read around at exactly what there is in the city.

 

After finishing I went straight to the main GTA forums, but the fucking servers are down so I thought I'd ask about cars and weapons here. If most of you have stopped playing the game though you probably won't remember.

 

It still bugs me about the lack of stuff though. Could've done with planes, more safehouses, definitely one of those fucking awesome Jet Packs from San Andreas to explore the city with too. I'll probably miss that thing the most....

 

Will probably post back if I find any cool stuff on the GTA forums anyway, assuming they come back online. Oh, and before I'm done : does anyone know about the ganton gym glitch from San Andreas? Where you can travel around a glitched version to all different interiors? That might be too geeky even for this forum, but it was cool doing it for the first time. Here's part of what it is (you can actually travel to Liberty City too from that glitched place, after part of it was added for the Bistro mission in the game, when you go back to Liberty City. If you've not got a cheat device though, it's often an absolute bastard to get there and can take ages.) :

Here's Liberty City in San Andreas. The guys in the gym are being killed because you have to, to activate the cheat. And this is done with a cheat device too, you wouldn't believe the fucking madness you have to go through to get there without a cheat device. Part of it includes travelling across to another part of the map, then getting in a car, activating a flying cars cheat and then flying up to Liberty City, because in the glitched place it's way above all the other interiors. This dude has a cheat where the jetpack can reach that height though, so all that is avoided (after the first 2 mins just skip to the last 30 seconds if you're watching it, it's just empty space while the char is travelling.) :

It's one of those things that are done just for the sake of doing it though, because once you get there only part of the ground is solid....which is a bit of a gutter.

 

And yeah....I'm a bit of a GTA geek, as you can probably tell now.
