Thats Gol TV (one of the footie-only channels in the US), and the Geordie is Ray Hudson.

 

Hudson is a little, shall we say, exciteable? Yesterday, he was actually QUITE MUTED by his own standards. You should hear him during La Liga matches. When Ronalidinho does something amazing, he literally orgasms all over the screen.

 

He really topped himself in Real Madrids final league-winning game last season, when he was screaming like a Madrid Ultra for the last 20 minutes.

 

A bit annoying at times, but I'd take him over John Motson ANY DAY.

 

(The American commentators on that channel are pretty good, btw).

Can you imagine listening to this idiot for 90 minutes every weekend like I have to? Honestly, I'd probably laugh at a 10 second soundbite but, when you hear him all the time he really drives you nuts. Gol TV shows La Liga and I have to watch it with the sound down.

Just been watching this again. You can hear the Geordie guy frustrated cos he can't get his words in. When the first goes in hes about to say sthe crouchasaurus and the yank speaks and then when the second goes in and the yank gets the scorer wrong you can hear the geordie sighing in the background. FAF these 2.
