Written and Directed by Adam McKay (Talladega Nights and Anchorman) and starring Will Ferrell and John C. Riley as competitive step brothers. Awesome.

As Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby opens in theaters today, Variety reports that its stars, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, and director Adam McKay will reunite for Step Brothers.

 

Columbia Pictures, the studio behind Talladega, snapped up the pitch in preemptive deals for the script and its stars' salaries. McKay and Ferrell will write the script for producers Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller.

 

Variety says "Ferrell and Reilly will play coddled guys who live with their respective single parents. Their folks fall in love and marry, making the guys stepbrothers."

 

Filming begins next summer. The film will be budgeted at slightly less than Talladega Nights.

You didn't even watch it properly, you sat there talking shit to Al and then turned it off half-way through you told me! No wonder you couldn't follow/appreciate it.

 

It's one of the best ensemble movies of all time.

 

I can vouch for the fact we watched that shite to the bitter end, Magnolia urrrgh that shit turn my stomach. In other news just asked someone on a torrent site if a torrent of simpsons was real. After downloading it he reports back, no its a fake but its really good quality !. There is some serious tardage roaming the net.
