The proof as ever will be in the pudding, so it's best to wait and see what happens before writing anything off. Your concerns are understandable and possibly with foundation, but now's not the time to complain about things that haven't happened.

I dunno, I'm not 100% happy, but at the end of the day we need to compete better as a business and as a football club, this will drag us kicking and screaming into the 21st Century and finally, fully exploit the worldwide fan base we are so proud of. Look at the other clubs in the prem, they are all better at exploiting their assets, we're shite.

 

This should change us for the better.

 

Or not. Either way there's nothing we can do about it.

I don't necessarily mean media , talkin about supporters from other clubs (mates) who will just put our success down to the new invester. But all said and done brownie is correct the deal hasn't gone through yet, so may aswell not look into the future to much seein it all ways in the balance.

Just watching your on sky sports and that Gary Newbon is reading our some more quotes from these lot (Probably from one of tomorrows papers) and a dubai person is saying "This wont be the presidents plaything, it'll be run as a business, we're always looking for exciting opportunites" etc just stuff like that really.

It never was a play thing, it will be run prudently, except I very much doubt he will want to be outbid for players for the sake of a million.

i gave up thinking the club belonged to the fans and the people of the city years ago. Ask any arl arse and they will tell you its all about money now, and a million miles from what they knew as a lad. For that reason I've no problem voting in favour of the takeover.
