The vast majority of people are on the verge of walking away because of ownership of clubs by States who horrifically abuse human rights, and a club dominating the league who absolutely everyone knows is cheating to an extraordinary level and as we sit here has 115 charges of fraud hanging over them.

I'm not sure many are walking away because they are annoyed that we didn't sign the players they wanted.  Being pissed off about such a thing is absolutely fine.  But if they are threatening to walk away because of it, then it's hard not to look at that as a bit ridiculous.

Read my fucking post again. I swear you are trolls. It's in there its listed. The ownership is the crowning turd on the dunghill.

What do you lot do for human rights causes? Please list them thanks.

It really does show how different people can view the world.

The only thing keeping me now is the pure football aspect of watching Klopp trying to build a second great team and all the issues around player availability, the player we want wanting to come to us, the budget we have to spend, and then the league starting and seeing how we play and the new players do.

Were we to be bought up by some State and just signed Bellingham, Caiceado, and anyone else, spunking £300m, that's when I'd be done and I'd walk away.

EDIT - 100% not a dig at anyone elses view on the world.  Just saying where I view things from.

So you have two years left then? And thats not if this season doesn't go west BTW. If you think Jurgen is immune to criticism think again, they will be on him like a pack of wolves if we have another season like last.

Yes, but its the idea that the club not buying the players you want IS the crowning turd that makes you walk away that sounds a bit daft.  It's like the turd is getting bigger and bigger with all the massive shit being piled on top, that something so tiny and minor like not getting in the players you want is the thing that makes you take the massive step of walking away.

Genuinely not trolling or anything.

I mean the Liverpool manager, obviously.  I'm naming Klopp now as he's the current manager, but I mean whatever manager is in charge.  When Klopp goes, then just replace the name Klopp with whoever the new manager is (Unless is Alonso in which case he can fuck off)

Also, I think Klopp has made plenty of the decisions not to spend.  For example, I think the decision not to pursue Bellingham was 100% Klopp.  He's made many poor decisions that he should be criticised for, none more so than not starting the midfield overhaul much sooner.

Its actually pretty logical.

If the only thing left that keeps you in the game is the club and that club is owned by people who'd rather invest in a chain of hotels and infrastructure then whats left? Once Jurgen goes who has at least a semblance of the Clubs traditional spirit its practically over.

Sorry must have missed that, what list you looking for Oskar?

You basically painted me as someone who puts human rights issues behind football transfers.

So, seeing as you are not like that, please give me a list of the initiatives you are currently undertaking to tackle those issues. I'll wait. A long time.

Once Klopp has gone its over. finished.

We will be also rans like we where before he arrived. I think a lot of people have forgotten just how bad we were under FSG pre Klopp. The guy is a miracle worker.

If our ownership cant back one of the best Managers in world football now, when we've been raking in top tv rights and record competition prize money, one that could walk into any job in the world, then they sure as hell won't be backing a lesser manager who won't be able to achieve those things.

The idea that Klopp is the last person that "gets us" is far too extreme.  The next guy could be even more of a fella who follows the socialism and ideals of the city. We've no idea.  Certainly not enough to declare the death of the traditions of the club and that's because the tradition of the club comes from the fans.  Players, coaches, owners come and go.  It's the fans that set the ethos of the team.

And even at that, buying hotels and not investing in the squad is a bit shit, but for it to be the reason to walk away just seems crazy to me. I get it's not crazy to you, and that's fine, but that's the least of the issues for football right now for me. For example, VAR is a much bigger issue than the owners not investing in the team for me, as that's killing my enjoyment of the game.

1) Not saying that while those regimes are bad that's not the thing that would make me walk away,

If we cant compete why worry about VAR, or any kind of meddling?

I truly admire your optimism, genuinely.

Genuinely I think you need to take a break.  Your posts are ridiculously over the top  The ownership has, so far, backed Klopp this summer and there is nothing to suggest that isn't going to continue once the Henderson and Fabinho deals are completed. They've backed him in the past with big money signings.  They've also not backed him too (I think Klopp holds some blame for this along with the owners)

It's not optimism, it's just not being over the top negative.  I do think we'll struggle to compete, but much more because of the State ownership issue that I never want to see Liverpool either becoming, or bankrupting itself trying to keep up with like Barcelona have.  It'll hopefully eventually right itself when loopholes are filled and Man City are formally charged and punished (and yes, before you say it, that will happen.  The PL wouldn't have embarrassed their own league with all those charges without concrete evidence). But that may take time. And while it does, I want to enjoy my footy, and VAR is a much bigger impediment to that then us refusing to pay £250m fee and wages for a 20 year old.

I think you are letting comments and posts get much too much on top of you as you'd swear we were a club about to into administration and get relegated to Division 2 the way you're going on.  You're talking about walking away; I think a few months away form here, and football, would do you a world of good, and, again, I mean that honestly and without snide.  Every outsider is saying we're having a good window so far, it's just a section of Liverpool fans who seem to be panicking.  There'll be more signings to come.  Relax and let it happen and then review when the window closes.  But at this stage, you are are far to worked up,

It's difficult in both positions because the prices are high and there aren't many outstanding candidates available. The club clearly need to do something, but it isn't obvious what the next move should be

There is a video by TIFO, who do decent stuff, about what we should do to replace Fabinho. They go through all the targets that have been recently mooted and ultimately decide that buying Amrabat is the best course of action.

When you can make a decent case that that is the best thing to do, the pickings are slim. Like I said, the club really need to pull off something special here.

I think well probably just sign Sangare if he has that clause of 35m.

Just be happy in the knowledge that there will be more signings. A few nice transfer dopamine hits will be coming your way soon. Unless the players are shit like.

Unless we sign Kimmich or Caicedo or somebody of that stature, that is very clearly going to be the next complaint.

Factual information that we have  turned players from Southampton, Hull, (a relegated) Newcastle, Sunderland, Hoffenheim and a few other fancied teams into world class, elite performers, will be ignored.
