Well that all sounds shit. Getting a goal within a minute, missing a penalty, another player subbed due to pick up a 'knock', conceding due to a defensive calamity, carrying little goal threat in the second half, youngsters physically outmatched, conceding a further 2 goals on the break, and losing a penalty shoot-out.

This break seems to have done them the world of good.

If you keep clicking past LFCTV you get to babe station, free for 5 minutes. Hope this helps.

That's right. It's where you can moan about how crap everything is and how they're offering no resistance as they're exposed and carved up through the middle.

Too many of the kids we don’t have out on loan look out of their depth.

Our approach to the youth set-up seems to be based on concentrating on a very few talented individuals, with anyone showing real promise being loaned out relatively quickly or moved up to the first team. We then run some very young development teams to make up the numbers which means they look physically completely outmatched when a decent chunk of them are on the pitch (even against reserve sides). Presumably this is why we keep getting thumped in that Johnson's paint/Checkatrade thing.

Not having an arbitrary rule that bans us from having any kids over 6 stone might help too.

Based on the outcome of this bollocks I can see the rest of the season being a right fucking giggle!

It's a training game after long sessions of fitness work, but here comes the unseemly haste to lock back into the chronic negativity of the previous few months. Honestly, it's like mewling infants have taken over the place.

You enjoy your sunshines and lollipops, the rest of us will deal with the biting misery of reality!
