Like many have questioned, why would your missus give up her non-dom status and pay £20m in taxes for you to keep a job that only pays £150k/year?

While Sunaks big education announcement falls flat on its face at precisely the same time the Welsh education secretary announced an increase in EMA that WILL make a small but positive difference to those students in futher education.

I'm not a fan of the idea of EMA to be honest. When I went to college in the mid-90s it was boss. It was completely different from school and most of the people who were there actively wanted to be there. 

 

When people started being paid to go, and colleges started being paid to have them, that changed. I heard this from a lot of my old tutors and I've seen it with the kids of some people I know who go to college. My old college is pretty hairy now due to the baghead quota.
