Mentioned this before but my mate works as a surveyor. Met Khan said how sound he was but thick as mince. Showed him an equation that amounted to a half a million quid or so and Khan said something ridiculous like "i don't have 250 million quid" apparently it was the sort of maths a kid could do so my mate was baffled at how he'd got that figure

Definitely looked rattled throughout the week but i confident and relaxed at weigh-in from what i seen

Yeah he looked decent today, better than I expected anyway. I’ve always said that Brook will knock him out but i’m wavering after what i’ve seen this week.

Both deserve a ton of respect for being game (mad??) enough to go up in weight vs Canelo/GGG. The faff around this fight being years too late is also a little overplayed: they're both only 35, so hardly at Exhibition level yet, and has hardly been optimum conditions for events past 24 months. Should be a decent fight (still backing Khan, though Brook is bookie's favourite).

The fight should be billed as Amir Can't v's Well Broke.

Faux hysteria about two fighters who never once in their careers went near one another, as fear drove them away from fighting one another(strange mindset for a boxer - too much to lose rther than gain all the glory?) and now, at the dying of the light, they now want to rage rage rage against the opponent they've been scared of fighting for all their careers - one last chance to prove that they were the best of the best of these two. Or it could just be about money and one final purse.

Considering it's not illegal or NSFW, it's one of the most stomach turning things I've seen in a while.

Yeah man, I had a visceral reaction to seeing that.

I like to think Brendan would have fucking clouted him for it on the spot.

That’s only true for khan. Brook has been chasing this fight for years.

It is too late in relation to their peaks - would have been unreal to see it 8 years ago for the IBF, but I’m with Brownie that it could well be a very enjoyable fight to watch still.

I’ll happily watch a scrap outside a chip shop and as neither of them can even consider being haunted by losing this fight, it should have plenty of edge and spite even if the quality is low. Needless to say fuck paying for it, but if I can snide it I’ll have a geez.

Hmmmm.  might just hope the fight spontaneously appears on my laptop at the appropriate time, although I am tempted by the chance to put Willbeforce Shihepo in the 'great names' thread.

It annoys me that people seem to justify shite PPV cards now when a couple of fights turn out to be decent. We have had that many years of matchroom walkovers that good scraps between nobodies are seen as justifying 20 quid.

I cant remember how many of these were televised on Sky, but look at their first PPV. 7 fights, 5 world titles

Yeah, as I say, it’s bad. I wanted to go, but I won’t be paying for it. Tickets got the cunt touted out of them as well.
