4 of the shittest knockdowns ever, in that fight.

I think it was probably a bit closer than the scorecards said. But, Eubank Jnr fought a sensible fight after the 5th or so onwards. He just protected what he already had from the first 4 rounds and tried to counter punch. I’m still amazed that he was put down by 3 jabs. Even if I’d probably cry if I was jabbed by Eubank Jnr.

I thought Eubank jnr looked absolutely awful despite it being a comprehensive victory. Some of the punches missed by fucking miles. And trying way too hard to be Roy Jones the 2nd coming. He'd do well to drop Roy and take Adam Booth in the opposite corner.

He clearly has talent, power and fitness but it was a terrible display of those attributes. What a dickhead he made of himself and I say that as a fan

Yeah some of the combinations he was throwing in the middle to last few rounds were embarrassing. He'd get (has been a few times) found out by top fighters. I expected better tonight. Have to say though, some cute early knock-downs. His ego and lack of bollocks wouldn't let him commit and finish it.

Agree with Remmie, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he looked like a dickhead. He looked good in the first five rounds and then looked awful after that. I don't think the passion is there anymore. He was 100% dedicated under Sr and Ronnie, and although he never had the power or the skill to come up against Golovkin or Canelo, he was knocking on the door of a world title. I don't think he's a world title level fighter anymore.

Roy Jones is an odd choice for a trainer. Roy had natural physical attributes that you can't train. He suffered in his later career when those attributes waned, and he had to fall back on the fundamentals. Bernard Hopkins would've been a far better choice for a trainer if he wanted to go down that route. What Eubank needs is a grounding in the fundamentals and strategy. Roach, Booth, John David Jackson, someone like that.

I was thinking he could do with Booth in his corner not the other before the fight but Booth either didn't advise or Williams didn't listen to calm down after the first knock down. he walked on to two more punches easily plus he was gassing himself early. Ok he had the stamina to keep on but fuck me who jogs back after a knockown...

Roach obviously sorts him out but will he see enough in him to bother? he's got the hand-speed I just don't think he's got the heart.
