He's not much of a LB - if it is him and another top CB (I am not sure Ake is) then I guess.

They will need to flush either Stones or Otamendi - probably both.

Is Otamendi in the last year of his contract?

Unsure re Otamendi, they’ve said they’re selling Stones... Garcia has taken his spot. They’re selling Mendy, looks like Ake will take his. They’re also after Koulibaly.

Read that. He needs to make his big money move this year.

Ake and Koulibaly would be easily north of 100m, right? And they will still be without a quality LB and still pretending Walker can defend.

They will be lucky to get half that back on Stones and Mendy.

Are the Guardian a good footy source?

If true, fair play, he's decent, and decent will do at the back.

Bournemouth definitely down barring a miracle, the fire sale begins.

I like Phillip Billing, Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks.

Billing haha.

Walker is a good RB. He’s no Trent, but still second best in the league IMO. They also have Cancelo as his back-up. I recall Ake being very good at LB for Watford, but that would’ve been 5 years ago now... Anyhow, I don’t think money is an issue for them. I have read that they’re after Alaba as well, and he’s available on a free.

Been linked with Jamal Lewis from Norwich. They want £20m but they lost a ridiculous amount of money due to the lockdown so probably will get held to ransom. No way would we pay that for a back up left back.

Their right back looks a decent footballer IMO. Can’t say I’ve noticed Jamal Lewis though.

If they bring in Ake and Alaba that is just taking the piss. And, would not be a great move for Ake - Alaba is a better player in both positions for me.

Alaba - Laporte - Koulibaly - Walker

Looks pretty good - Alaba might struggle with some of the pace merchants he would come up against but he is very good.

We should just tell them we signed Andy Robertson for £8m & we’re not paying a penny more than that.
