To be more serious though, if anyone had a loved one in Austria or Greece that was soon to be injured or killed by a vaccine they never wanted, I'd guess this whole situation would rapidly look different if they'd previously thought all of these measures were fine.

As opposed to loved ones soon to die or end up in a hospital with a virus they desired all their lives? Which is like a 100,000 times more likely scenario with over 60s

I don't think government mandated injections are the answer to that problem, especially with the possible future consequences of what that could mean once it's accepted.

I've always worn a mask when legally required to do so; you seem to be suggesting this isn't enough and I should just ignore my own experiences and unquestioningly accept the illogical received wisdom.

 

There are videos where you can actually see the droplet expulsion from a sneeze or cough, with and without a mask. The difference is pretty stark - even affording for coughing/ sneezing into your arm or clothing. Some aerosols can get through the mask, but it does afford significant protection, whereas wearing no mask provides none. You have to also take into account viral load and its effect on the severity of illness.

So far covid passports and announcements of mandatory vaccination has served to push people to get vaccinated. With over 60s, in the recent wave throughout Eastern-Southeast Europe, vast majority of deaths have been in the over 60 category, something like 80 percent of deaths were typically people who weren't  fully vaccinated, so at least mathematically (without studying all cases with respect to underlying conditions) they are about 8 to 10 times more likely to die.

That is true. It has been widely acknowledged that the argument has been lost with about 20 to 60 percent of populations, depending on the country. Which is astonishing, because it is a relatively simple argument, particularly when it comes to older categories.

As for "all the deaths" in the UK, of the tens of millions of vaccinations administered up to August, there were 5 deaths.  (That is, of course, assuming you consider official data which contradicts your scaremongering assumptions as "accurate updates".)

I suppose you've all seen that unsourced list of sportspeople who've suddenly collapsed or dropped dead, which heavily implies that their fate was attributable to a vaccine reaction. 

 

I was bored earlier and did about a 10 minute dive into it. Did my "research." 

 

Firstly, of the names listed, I can only find (fairly) credible sources confirming vaccination for TWO people included in the list - Fabrice N'skala (footballer) and Greg Luysen (cyclist). 

 

The list also contains people where there's no evidence whatsoever of vaccination and the person has died from causes including a

suicide, a head injury after landing on an exposed rock while playing football, of cardiac issues which they were diagnosed with prior to covid, after collapsing when training in plus 90 degrees temperatures with a subsequent complaint being made against the coach for making his team carry out brutal training programmes. There's also a case of death from Covid itself. 

 

Then there's the collapses - some had pre-existing cardiac conditions with some of them existing pre-covid and the associated vaccines. There's also the case of Bordeaux's Samuel Kalu who is listed as collapsing during a game due to cardiac arrest - but he was miraculously able to resume training just 3 to 4 days later

Or Dimitri Liénard of Strasbourg who allegedly collapsed with "heart problems." There was one small issue with this. He didn't. He felt unwell before the game and during it too. No apparent cardiac issues. Just a bit off colour.
