Anybody watching the European championships , a bit of an odd one as they are holding swimming & cycling events in Glasgow while the athletics are being held in Berlin.

 

Athletics started today and GB won both the mens & womens 100 metres tonight with Dina Asher-Smith and Zharnel Hughes. They were actually a romantic item until recently.

 

Was reading an article by Katarina Johnson-Thompson saying that she had left Liverpool for a training group in France so they could all get the benefit of each others expertise , and pointing out that Kevin Mayer, the French world decathlon champion was based there. I assumed she meant that she would get better with his help but it is obviously working the other way around as he failed to register a valid long jump today and is out of the running for medals. All joking apart hopefully KJT does well when the Pentathlon starts.
