Yes, Tony & that's why we have desert boots for those occasions when a trainer won't cut it such as a trip to meet a foreign diplomat, Chinese New Year or if you happen to have one of your Adidas trainers stuck up your arse.

I've never been all that keen on desert boots. I think it's the crepe soles, though saying that, I do like Clarks Weaver and Wallabee shoes, not that I've worn a pair for years.

Ordered these today. Super cheap as they're deadstock. Had my eye on them ages ago but didn't have the funds.

Hmm, these came instead. The latest hamburgs.. I wasn't a fan which is why i try to get the older all black style. What do you guys think?

I prefer them in suede to the goretex ones which look like this

 

 

Obviously, the goretex ones are more useful in a torrential downpour.

 

Nothing wrong with classic black with white stripes.

Yeah I know they're classic, but there's just something I'm not keen on.

 

Or maybe it's because I ordered one thing, that was really hard to find in my size.. and ended up with something else.

Send them back then. No point having them if you don't like them and they won't get worn, even if they were cheap.

The only thing stopping me is I ordered them from the UK so it will be nearly a month round trip (from Australia) to get a different pair...

About the first ones I like from Adidas in here. Don't care too much for the white stripe style.

I need some new smart new trainers that I can wear on informal nights out and such. Usually wear converse but Adidas trainers are mint.
