My first choice is Ezra (an offshoot of Fen) because it's really light and simple.

 

Ezra or Fen, you can't fall off. Seren is a back up.

Stremio is another option instead of Kodi. I'm using that exclusively at the moment, it's very good.

I've not tried it without. It's only £3 a month anyway. Not going to find better value than that anywhere.

What am I doing wrong mate?

 

added Ezra yesterday and went to watch sopranos and it came up in search but “no results” when I go to try a specific episode.

 

now when I go into The Crew, and try to watch episodes I watched a few days ago, only one stream link appears instead of half a dozen or so that came up before, and when I click on it “no streams available” shows up.

 

any ideas?

Turns out I only had a 7 day feee trial so now paid up and get the links working on The Crew again.

 

still nothing on Ezra though.

The add ons can be hit and miss. Before I changed to Stremio, Fen was working well

If you downloaded from Troypoint or Firesticktricks it should give instructions to link to Real Debrid.

Finally got around to buying a real debrid account, what a bloody difference . There are a couple of episodes on Alone that have no debrid links , which surprised me but we're talking 5 yes old or so - no biggie.

I've use Ezra, with Seren as a back up, and I've watched every episode of Alone.

 

You're right about Debrid, it turns Kodi from a buffering soul destroying mess into a buttery smooth viewing pleasure. $16 for 6 months and it continually astounds me why so many people continue with their Prime / Netflix / other streaming subscriptions. Crazy.

The boy @Elite is right about that Stremio app. It’s bob on. 
 

Bit of a nuisance to install an add on for it called Torrentio and then sync that to your Debrid, but once that’s done you’re off and away.

Can't remember the build name , I'll have a look in a mo, need to do some tweaks to sort interface out. It's years since I used Kodi , can you rig it up from start up to go straight to your chosen app or is start up interface always a Kodi screen? 

So far the streams are spot on , but I need to mess around with bookmarks and favourites etc

Need to look into this one , BeeTv has been my go to app but the more the merrier

Settings > Interface > Change Skin

 

I always change mine and have it looking Netflix style. Said it before that I enjoy the process of setting it all up. It gives me great satisfaction once I’ve got it all done. 
 

I’ll get some pictures for you later. My kid is watching the girly footy in the living room at the moment.

Plex doesn't.

 

It's a stand alone service / player, which only plays stuff which has already been uploaded to the server you have access to.

 

I once had a Plex sub through a previous IPTV provider and it was fine, but I could only watch whatever was already uploaded onto their server.

 

Much prefer Real Debrid, due to the price, the control and the flexibility of it.

 

I personally hate Kodi builds too, they're always bloated, slow and too big, often poorly maintained.

 

Much better to completely reinstall Kodi from scratch,vadd only one or two add ons (such as Ezra and Seren) then link them up with your Debrid and Trakt accounts.

 

It's all you need, faster and lighter.

 

You can always tinker around with skins or options too, tailor your set up to suit your needs.

Kodi? Probably.

 

I've used tons of skins and widgets in the past but I prefer light and stripped back now so I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to the latest skins and stuff.

 

Turdseye might be your best bet, I know he liked to shush things up.

Yeah, easily. Change to any skin other than the Kodi base one and everything is easily customisable. You’ll see it’s so easy it’s not worth me even typing instructions. 
 

You can have it open up to absolutely anything.
