No idea what it is but feeling a bit reassured by some apparent bruising coming up

No way is it gout, I am not a 19th century aristocrat and you can't buy cider or black pudding over here.

Genuinely, I will cut the fucker off before I admit to gout ( sorry Carvalho)

Whats so embarassing about it? I am prone to it because I am medically predisposed to having elevated levels of uric acid in my blood. Simple as that. Its not as if you get it through eating dog shit or supporting Everton or something.

Our business is going through an investment round at the moment and there is a little bit of class warfare between myself and the investment banker we are using. Not helped by a drunken conversation in London on the night before Thatcher's funeral.

Anyway, I may possibly have used his gout as part of a demonstration of everything that is wrong with the London financial community and the Tories. If it turns out that I have it, then I am going to look like like a right twat. Genuinely, I would rather get the meat cleaver out

Not sure, I refuse to do doctor's partly because I am a bloke and partly because I do not trust any doctors in this country for a variety of reasons

Think it was a deep splinter in the end with a bit of inflammation from infection - a week or so after it stopped hurting, some bits came to the surface of the skin.

Finished our investment round and will probably not have to see said banker for a while so gout is now allowed
