Everton are reported to have bid £4m so I'd guess £8m.

Everton £4m bid for Vegard Forren | Mail Online

Solskjaer confirmed last week: ‘Vegard is not travelling to the national team camp, because we are in the final stages of negotiations with another club.

‘It’s possible that Vegard will go for a medical check-up and negotiate his personal contract.’

The centre back, who can also play at left back, has also attracted interest from Sunderland.

Cover for Enrique who is out for another month or more too.

How tall is he?

186.

The mandatory highlight vid.....

Looks decent. Ok passer & crosser of the ball, good tackler, decent pace. And he looks cool.

Oh and he won the 'Kniksenprisen' award for the best defender in the Norwegian top league in 2012.

Sign him up.

Norwegian newspapers now also reporting this. However they also say he is in England to negotiate with 2 teams, of which only Liverpool is known to them. Surprised to see Code playing down his aerial abilities. He is no LB cover and i don't see him being anything more than a backup player. Surprised he would take a move to LFC seeing as he needs game time now to develop further. Wonder if we will sell or loan out Coates.

There is currently no deal in place (confirmed by the Molde CEO). There is however talk in the local newspaper regarding some sort of trial...

Personally I don't see the need; Forren is a good player, but I don't see how he'll ever become something more than a backup for Daniel Agger. I don't think he is better than Agger in any aspect of his game.

I do think there is a need for an alternative to Skrtel and Agger, but that should be a player with more pace and strength.
