The league

Now for 3 points, its astonishing what we are like in the league as opposed to CL. I think the only thing it can be is the physical nature of away games. Some players obviously don't like it up them, as soon as we sort that out we will be there or thereabouts.

I was queueing for Boro tickets at 11am when Danny Murphy pulls up near the office, presumably to pick up some tickets for Saturday. A kid who cant have been any older than 6 asks for his autograph and was dismissed as he was in a hurry. No need for it whatsoever, he just got in and out as quick as possible, not even stopping when Sue from the ticket office shouted him back. Danny should have took a look at that queue and remember that WE were taking time off work to go to wait in a line for an hour or more to pay HIS wages. Fair enough if he told an adult in a nice manner that he couldnt stop, but to fuck a kid off, that was out of order.

I know it's fuck all to laugh about but I keep getting a vision along these lines: Gillett(sp?? henceforth known as the yank) sittin across the table from Moores "Ahh Davey -you don't mind if I call you that do you? I just love this soccer business. I've been doing a little thinking since we put this all together. Now that there Spy On Kop I know they love a little singalong and to top it all they pull their songs from the classical Hollywood musicals. Problem is I think that needs a little bit of razzmatazz - you know spicing up so heres the deal. Firstly we change the name of the franchise to Liverpool Wildcats, the team can come out onto the field with the …

From today's Daily Post: Meanwhile the L4 consortium, headed by US-based billionaire Kraft family, last night insisted it was still interested in putting together a deal involving Liverpool Football Club, despite weekend reports to the contrary. The consortium has been put together by two Liverpool-born entrepreneurs and LFC fans, former Miramax executive Stuart Ford, 35 and Mike Jefferies, 40, chairman of Milkshake Films. Speaking from London last night Mr Jefferies, who grew up in Woolton, said: "for the record, we, L4 Group, have not 'abandoned' anything. We are still totally committed to trying to help reposition LFC, and we hope to make some significa…

It was Manchester What Won It!

Did anyone else see Granada Reports tonight. Apparently the IOC were so impressed with the way Manchester hosted the Commonwealth Games (The ones where most of the countries participating still point at planes) that it may well have swung it in London's favour. Bollocks. I cannot see how the IOC would have been swung having seen footage of the 100 metre Ramraid final live from Moss Side. They can't help themselves can they? Also, regarding London getting the Olympics, in the words of Partridge.... S H I T H O L E!

After yesterday's result surely Roy's days are numbered and the time has come for the board to start considering names to replace him. The 2 names being mentioned most are Kenny and Pellegrini, neither man is currently employed at another club and they would be easy to appoint [especially Kenny]. However if the board decided that they wanted a manager who is under contract at another club/team eg. Hiddink, Rijkaard etc. would it be possible for the board to pay big money to buy out the managers's contract ??

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=463100&CPID=8&clid=8&lid=2&title=Lampard+wants+to+be+great&channel=football_home& Frank Lampard believes he cannot be considered a great player until he has won the UEFA Champions League. Chelsea host Liverpool in a semi-final first leg at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports 1, in a rematch from 2005. Much of the talk pre-match has been of The Blues' opportunity to avenge their controversial defeat by The Reds at this same stage two years ago. However Lampard claims he and Chelsea have loftier ambitions. "I feel I've shown what I can do but it is about winning titles and meda…

Does anyone know if this is sold out re general sale. Heard it was but the club website and ticket lines are saying tickets still on sale. The reason I ask is that I've been ringing the ticket line since half 8 and keep being told that my call is being charged for notwithstanding all I ever get is an officious woman telling me that all operators are busy please try again later. Now that's irritating enough generally but if this game is already sold out - went on general sale yesterday - and they've not changed the message than that fucking stinks

Taken from ynwa.tv ( apologies if already posted ) --- As previously mentioned, we're doing a photo montage for both LFC TV and the Website on April 15 and we now have 88 photos (89 supporters, as one photo has two brothers) of the victims. We are just missing 7 - so one last appeal to everyone reading this, if you can help in any way in tracking down any relatives or friends of the seven people listed below, it would be massively appreciated. If you can pass on this appeal on other message boards, brilliant. email me @ paul.rogers@liverpoolfc.tv - Thanks in advance.
