Rafa Benitez says he is waiting for an enticing offer from a Premier League club that can challenge for titles, but insists he is not desperate to take a new job. The Spaniard has been out of work since being fired by Inter Milan in December 2010, just six months after his six-year reign at Liverpool ended.

Benitez says he wants a "team that can challenge for trophies and at the same time improve," adding that his "priority is to stay in the Premier League

I'm not sure he has many EPL options?

Newcastle would improve with him, as would Villa.... maybe Spurs if Churchill gets the England farce.

I rate him but he made a cunt of himself in his last season....

fuck me sideways i'd have him back.

I was lay on the couch last night in a tailored three piece suit, eating cheese so strong I had to open a window with crackers which border on the exploitatively expensive and I was drinking imported Ale which even I had difficulty pronouncing the name of.

Now this creates an impression in the subjective mind of a dandy decadent idly passing an evening in opulence and refinement without a care nor poem for the world, in fact I was just a lazy fucker who didn't get changed when he got home from work, hadn't been shopping and couldn't be arsed cooking and I wanted to get drunk on a tuesday.

It all about perceptions and how you choose to see things.

I see cunts talking about nonsense.

Rafa needs to accept that rightly or wrongly (unfairly in my opinion) his reputation has been trashed in England as a result of his relationship with the media. His stock has fallen so far that Fulham and Villa fans are horrified by the idea of him becoming manager. I'd suggest even West Brom fans preferred the idea of Hodgson even after his disastrous reign here.

Rafa needs to go back to Spain or Italy and find a middling club with a bit of ambition (and patience) and show what he can do all over again.

I would not be surprised to see him take over from Redknapp at Tottenham.

Wouldn't be a bad shout that, and also quite potentially a big scare to the likes of United and City as well as as us, Arsenal and Chelsea.

As long as he is backed like Harry, then Spurs could be next club to try and help break the grip by United.

He also needs to learn to bite his tongue and not get involved at board level and expect that there will be limitations in terms of what he is financially able to do.

On his day he could probably turn anyone in to world beaters .

And that is what the scariest part of him possibly becoming Spurs manager.

Saying that I would not have him back here, just because there is too much water under bridge between everybody, which in my opinion it is for the best.

And we are in the process of building our own Empire which is going to need the foundations adjusting before we move to the next stage of laying the first course. A change in manager at this tome would be irresponsible in my view.
