PSG being owned by Arabs will mean that they will undoubtedly sack the current manager and appoint a big name. Benitez would be an obvious choice.

I don't really understand his reticence; he'll have unlimited amounts of cash, he's in Paris, and he will have a great opportunity to rebuild his reputation after the Inter debacle.

I would wish him well, but because of the PSG ownership issue I hope he doesn't take the job, because mega-rich owners who know fuck all about football are killing the game, and I fucking hate them.

He can't afford another fallout/failure/both and is thus hesitant to work under volatile arabs.

Its all part of my plan to devalue the word and its PC shockiness. You can join in the movement if you like, I am misusing it a dozen times a day for the next year. I called someone a racist this morning for asking for their coffee black.

I've been doing this for a while now, although without any political agenda. The best times are when people get offended and try to defend themselves or attack your ignorance.

'How is preferring green to blue racist?'

'Christ! I can't believe you even have to ask that question! People like you are what's wrong with the world!'

I hope he takes up the job. He is a tactical genius and tends to buy players who suit his style more. He identifies talent, nurtures them and makes them world class. He will spend but I don't think he will spend like Man City did on players like Jo etc.

He is too good to sit on the sidelines for long. FFS, even porky pig O'Neil got a job.
