Bad Company 2

Recommended Posts

Battlefield Bad Company on the Xbox was a very enjoyable game but I always found myself going back to COD 4 because I felt bad companies online let it down. The multiplayer games tended to be laggy and the variety of game types was disappointing. However, the graphics, gameplay, SFX and everything else was superb. If MP was to improve then this is surely a contender for game of the year.

Games to get this year: Bad Company, Red Dead Redemption and Arkham Asylum 2. The list keeps growing!

Medal of Honour should be the biggest challenge to MW2 I'd say.

Incidentally, 2 leading employees at Infinity Ward were sacked this morning. Adds fuel to the flames that Infinity Ward and COD games are finished.

I thought it was back to Treyarch for the next installment of CoD, and that IW had an agreement in place to do MW3 in 2011.

Still, nothing would surprise me, only so much you can squeeze from a franchise like this.

Treyarch are doing this next one, Nam I believe, but what I got told from a reliable enough source was that Infinity Ward aren't happy with Activision as they felt they hadn't given the agreed loyalties, so they were looking at contacting other publishers for MW3, and Activision have hit the roof and enforced some dismissals. They are horrible, RRP upping, shit peripheral producing cunts.

I see. I wonder who has the intellectual rights for the MW series? I'd have thought that Activision would hold the aces in this department?

I've heard/read that this years CoD will be set in Nam, there's a website out there somewhere that claims to have the weapons list already, I'll see if I can dig it up.
