I was raised in the South to Scouse parents and I have a Southern accent. It annoys the bollocks off me that I get the odd dirty look at Anfield, as if I don't deserve to be there somehow. Pisses me right off.

 

I think it's quite funny as no one bats an eyelid when welsh, irish, scottish, scandinavians shout stuff. Sometimes the person next to me has the banter, chat all game etc, sometimes i get the super local death stares - i understand the tribalism but it's the premiership!

I think Carragher is the most under-rated defender (it's a skill, he doesn't just luckily get in the way of the ball) I have ever seen and it does my head in how he gets written off every single summer before he goes to have another excellent season.

That's cool, it seems alien to me to be worried about it as where i am from there is no identity really, no tie to the place i live, no rivalry etc,maybe it's too relaxed i don't know.
