I got this when I bought the ps3. Haven't had chance to play it much because I need to sit down and work out what's what. It looks incredible though.

It is brilliant. The cut scenes do go on a little but they introduce you to the briefings so I didnt have a problem with them.

The shooting comes a little later when you've got more guns. First its best to go stealth. Listen to me, I'm an expert.

Well, I couldn't afford the PS3 to play it, so, being the saddo I am, I downloaded it and watched someone playing through it. More importantly it had all the cutscenes so I now know how everything ended. Whilst I have a few problems with bits of the plot, I thought the game overall was a very fitting ending to the series.

Have played a bit of this now and it's by far the best PS3 game to date. The score and the sounds effects are incredible, the cut scenes so far have been enjoyable and there are so many little touches. It just oozes class.

Have just sorted the vamp (syringue in the neck) and it goes split screen with Raidon (or whatever his name is - isn't that a fly spray?) and the Vamp fighting while I have to see to loads of those transformers thingies. Tried just blowing them up with a tank blaster and I run out of time because the vamp kills my mate.

 

Slight problem in that in the previous battle with the vamp I used loads of ammo because it took a few goes before it dawned on me that he wasn't going to die. Nor do I have money to buy more.

Use the chain cannon (hold down fire for a maximum strength attack, one hit disables the transformer thingies).

Are you sure you're playing the game in the right spirit Hammy, i.e. tactical espionage?? Or are you blasting the shit out of everthing that moves, get some get some stylee?

Its that Vamp twat not dying that fucked me up. Took me longer than it should have to realise that no matter how often I killed him, he wouldn't die.

Thants the dumbass was stuck on that bit too. I must have got lucky, I spoke to Otacon first time I did it and he tells you how to kill him.
