No that's not what I mean, these fucking things play before the vid you want. Such as something on sky news.com. Even on my phone, I see something slightly interesting on the news app and bang, they want me to watch some shit advert first. 

That's what Adblock Plus does, stops ads before videos, and not just on youtube. Just tested skynews.com using Google Chrome and Adblock Plus enabled and the adverts are prevented from playing, you get straight to the video you want to see.
