As nice as it all is, it is actually what 'they' want.

Anything which hastens the BBC losing its remit, licence and freedoms is exactly what the plan all along was.

A move to partisan, politically funded, news cycles like America has been the long game of these goons and anything which brings Auntie into disrepute with the great unwashed is mana from heaven.

Been a great day for 'them' as the BBC is now back against several walls and any decision looks bad.

I get that but it feels like an own goal to be cancelling a national treasure like Attenborough

I'm not sure who you work for dude, but these days most employers do have a social media policy, and I think it can impact on your social media output.

I've been told before not to be 'too political'. I responded by standing for the local council!

It's not uncommon

I work for myself so not familiar with employment practice these days but that surprises me.

The 'BBC' has cancelled Attenborough, not the Tories; they'll probably wade in now with faux outrage.

The same 'BBC' which has been stacked with connected Conservatives and some openly former critical members.

Remember, they tried to force through others, probably worse ones, at the BBC and OFCOM.

There is a concerted effort to discredit the BBC and anything which casts a critical eye and gets people talking about cancelling the licence fee is another step closer to actually abolishing Auntie as she should be.
