Sky broadband and piracy letters

A mate has received a letter from sky stating that a court order has forced them to hand across IP details of people who have downloaded films etc. It claims the company will be in touch soon and might ask for compensation etc.

 

Anyone else heard of this?

Yeah, it happens a bit. It's worth googling. I think the advice is to ignore it.

true story this. My mate bought the inspiral carpets greatest hits on the Internet yet a few years ago when he was pissed.Fast forward a couple of years later and he ends up in South nightclub where Clint boon was djing that night.

He walks up to the dj box

"you Clint boon?"

Clint boon went mad arguing with him. My mate got thrown out in the end.
