High Quality &/or Aged Rum

I am quite into my spirits and enjoy a decent single malt and what with having a Ukrainian missus I am also enjoying quality Vodkas. However, I have been thinking about getting a decent quality Rum and was looking for recommendations. There was a stall at the City centre a couple years ago where I sampled some gorgeous aged Rum that I wish I had bought or at least written the name down. I like Kraken and Havana club, but I reckon there is better out there, but what is it?

I'm sure there are better rums if you spend a heap, but for a reasonable amount of money, it's the best I've had.

but at 90 euros plus packaging, it's a bit of a punt on something that I ultimately want because of the awesome fucking Bottle it's in. I'm a right fucking mug for stuff like that.

Ron zacapa is a very good rum. Aged, slightly thicker on the pallete. Drink it neat or with a bit of ice.

I like Mount Gay rum myself. It is not that expensive either.

You probably wouldn't consider this gem from aldi, less than a tenner but I like it. Strong too and best drunk straight and from the fridge. Yum
