If he hands in a transfer request he loses his loyalty bonus or something or other. If he really wants to go Im sure he wouldnt mind losing it tbh. I still think he will stay.

I don't think it's simply a case of "back up" and I don't think Rodgers necessarily "wants (Enrique) as first choice". I think he wants to replace him but is probably willing to stick with him this season because it's not really a priority position and we don't have the funds to spend on a new left back right now.

Why don't you think he is happy with Enrique? He regularly starts and he was raving about him and Johnson last season saying they were two of the best full backs in the league.
