I want Rhodes to win it and then get screwed in a rematch on Raw tomorrow and lose it again.

Or win it and Priest cashes in just fir the fume

WrestleMania 40 match card, schedule for Night 1

Matches not in order.

The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to determine stipulations on Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match.

Women's World Championship match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch.

WWE Intercontinental Championship match: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso.

Six-pack ladder match for Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: Finn Bálor and Damian Priest (c) vs. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Miz and R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller vs. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane).

I hope Gunther keeps the belt but they don't seem to be doing much with him lately. Think he loses though

That ladder match was better than I expected. Thought there would be too many teams for that to work

Great for R Truth to get that moment at Wrestlemania

That table bump McDonagh took looked a bit rough

That was far better than I thought

Especially from the Rock, he looked out of breath doing promos in the build up but fair play he was great there tonight. Expected result really, if Cody is winning it tomorrow it was always going to be the hard way

Fans in audience far more split than expected.

Good night 1 overall

Even if the Rock being given a dummy belt was naf. He's above needing one. And McAffee is like some ball sport commentator that finds a way to cram 36 words in when 5 will do, before completely contradicting himself 30 seconds later.

Would like to see Andrade and Santos Escobar get a one on one feud

Pathetic stuff in main event  - Dwayne running around cheating and telling ref he'll fire him if he counted him out in a match where if his team were the 'winners' they get free reign the following night made last night irrelevant. May as well have just not bothered.

They've booked themselves into a corner all the way with this shite, they have tonight to put it right and still can, but as it stands it is an overbooked mess.

I mean this is all setting up for Rhodes to overcome everything tonight to make his victory even sweeter and it allows for people to show up in his corner as well.

Also, Rock was in no way exposed and worked an acceptable match, didn't look like he got hurt, etc...

The show was just aight, though. Lynch-Ripley was good. Intercontinental title was good. Main event was decent. The rest felt like meaningless filler. Won't be hard to do better tonight.

I'm surprised so many people are shocked that Cody lost last night. If they are putting the title on him as everyone thinks then it was always going to do it the hard way

He certainly didn’t look 51.

Getting back into ring shape and pinning Cody makes it more likely we’ll be seeing a program between those two.

There's juice in this "final boss" board member heel character he's playing. Obviously, he'll also get cheers but it's way more interesting. If he turns on Reigns, I just don't see the point. Like cool, he's another legend babyface who will burry people when he's around.

That said, Rock will no doubt face Roman at some Mania. Would just prefer if his shtick wasn't rehearsed catchphrase babyface guy.

Not sure Roman will ever be a fan favourite enough fir it to be any different.

McIntyre win

Great for him,fully deserved.
