People who follow the Kardashian clan. Apparently, the value of the company behind Snapchat has dropped by over $1bn after one of them said she doesn't use Snapchat anymore. The Kardashian clan having that much influence on social media is one of the many things wrong with this world.

Anyone who doesn’t offer their pay and display parking ticket to another person when they are leaving the car park.

Worse is people who don’t realise that you’re trying to give it to them. A couple of times I’ve been sat there with my arm hanging out of the window waving the ticket, only for the people to look at me like I’m fucking mental and speed up a bit, almost twatting my hand with their cars.

Mrs O'T's bullshit alarm went off when she saw that story. A couple of minutes later, she showed me a graph of Snapchat shaŕe values over the last year or so: a steep and prolonged decline until the point at which they introduced the change that this Kardashian person objected to; the change resulted in an immediate rocketing of share values, almost to the point they were at a year ago; this person's tweet caused (or coincided with) a slght dip which cancelled out about 10% of the earlier gains.

In other words - any journalist could have sniffed that Kardashian press release and recognised it was binnable bullshit. But that might involve a few minutes work, so much better to just publish uncritically whatever PR cack you're given.
