"doesn't matter what people think about what he guaranteed before"

now "guarantees the team will try hard"

aggressive "the fans have every right to expect us to be in the top four"

thanks for the Euro Cup and FA Cup Rafa but now it should be goodbye

Haha, you made 3 posts in the thread it was posted but felt the need to start a whole new one about it. Behaviour of a bad bell that.

Its like the guarantee I got with my 'real feel' blow up doll, guaranteed to feel just like the real thing!

That turned out to be bollocks as well, although strangely enough it DID make me come fourth. (I failed to keep a clean sheet though)

Boom fuckin tish, thank you and goodnight.

Would you have been happier if he'd have said this in the beginning then?

If you're asking me, yes. I said it when he made the guarantee. I said it would be thrown in his face after every setback and that has been proved to be the case.

I wasn't but since you answered it doesn't matter what was said or when it would be thrown in his face regardless.

If he'd said it earlier we'd have attention seekers starting threads that aren't needed to see their name in lights accusing him of giving up and surrendering with so many games to go and he should be more confident. As it was we got the other side of the can't win coin.

All anyone can guarantee is effort and determination, from themselves.

Name another occassion when a manager has guaranteed anything. He brought extra pressure on himself and the players with that statement, yet another screw up.

Wenger saying Henry will be at Arsenal next season a month before he left for Barcelona?
