Hi All

I recieved a signed liverpool shirt for chirstmas which is supposed to be of the current squad.

I have a certificate with it but i am well aware these are easy to create and could be a fake.

I wondered if anybody knew of anywhere i can validate this certifcate.

It says that its from South West Memorbilia COA LV 1243

Thanks for any help

Alan

Guest Numero Veinticinco
thats was quick.

why is everybody so sure?

Having worked for SPETSNAZ (Sporting production and equipment training specialist, north africa/zambia ), I still have my code checker. Clearly a fake.

Put your ear to the sleeve and listen to it carefully. You should hear the gentle buzz generated by the longing of the Amish people to own calculators.

If you cant hear this, its fake.

PS - expect a neg bomb (your rep marker will go red). Its a friendly thing so dont be offended :)

I repped him to balance out the triggerhappy non-football on the GFers. Now, the GF should remain football free, but the lad was a first time poster and should be given some slack.

Exactly why a neg is valid.

Instead of Hi my names Dave hows it going.

It's I bought this tell me if it is fake. What is this antiques bloody roadshow?

fair comment, but what if his name isn't Dave? Thought of that?

Exactly we don't know, your making my point for me here RIS.

If a total stanger came up to you in the street and said

'Hey mister is this a fake,'

you would think they a mentalist and run.

If someone you vaguely knew came up to you and said,

'Hey RIS how are you'

'Hows the family'

'Good good'

Oh while I am chatting to you have a look at this what do you recon fake?

Then you would reply ' Yes that's a fake mate.'
